- Crisis-affected people in food-insecure areas meet their food and nutrition needs all year round
- Vulnerable people in states and regions with high food insecurity and/or malnutrition have access to food all year round

Cooperation with the World Bank
- Currently, FERD is working with the World Bank for the adoption of Country Partnership Framework â CPF (2020-2024) which support to Myanmar with the international development assistance during 2020 to 2024.
- Regarding this CPF, a consultation workshop was held on Monday, June 24, 2019 in Kempinski Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw in order to seek the views of Senior Union-level Officials concerning with Myanmarâs key development challenges, and to identify areas where the World Bank Group should concentrate its future support in order to have the greatest impact in promoting inclusion, sustainable poverty reduction and shared prosperity in Myanmar.
- FERD is negotiating and coordinating between the implementation agencies, Department of Rural Development (DRD) and Regional Government, and the World Bank for the Peaceful and Prosperous Community Project (PPCP) with the loan of US $ 200 Million financed by World Bank.
- This project was discussed by State Counselor and Ms. Victoria Kwakwa, Vice President of World Bank while they met in June 2018, and it aim to support the economic recovery and resettlement of the community in the conflict-effected areas.
- This project will implement from 2020 to 2026, and initially, it will be implemented in Kayin, Kayah and Mon States, and after the two years of implementation, it will continue the implementation in Kachin and Shan States.
